I'm a singer-songwriter that writes folk/country/pop songs. I'm currently working on my first album and I hope to release it this or next year. I've spent my own funds to make this dream come true.   1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I'm the singer-songwriter and vocalist of my 10 song album (it has no name yet but my song are on SoundCloud). I work with two musicians that help wioth the music compostion and one producer/sound engineer who records my songs in studio. It's been great and I've shared our progress on my Instagram.

  4. A: I'm working on my first album. I am soon done with 7 out of 10 songs completed.

  8. A: Does it matter? You do what works for the song.

  10. A: I will do my best.

  12. A: I love the process of being creative and sharing ideas.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: People think writing songs and coming up with melodies is easy. I promise you that singing your own songs without practice in studio is difficult.

  18. A: What is it you really want to create? A hit or real art?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Get to know me and see what I can help you with.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Solar panel, iPhone, iPhone charger, acoustic guitar and a bowie knife.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: My 9 to 5 was an IT consultant working for one of the biggest consultancy houses in Oslo, Norway. But I quit and now I'm in the NH Air National Guard part-time.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: Ray Lamontagne because he inspired me to make music and write songs. I would also like to make a duet with Megan Moroney (but I think she's far beyond my paygrade).

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Work, practice and never give up. Because you love this.

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: Singer-songwriter, pop, country and folk music.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: Being creative and using as few words as possible.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: Originality, and each song needs to mean something (theme or symbolism).

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: Reading and listening to all kinds of music. Suddenly a new melody and lyrics will trigger. Then I work with two other musicians and figure out the composition of the song to make it ready for studio recording.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: My producer has a studio where I make songs.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: I love all kinds of music from hip-hop to classical music. But my favorite genre is country music (old timey, and contemporary).

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: I mostly do songwriting.
