  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: “It’s easy — you just sing, design, or edit a few things and you're done.” So wrong As a singer/songwriter: People think you just open your mouth and magic comes out. Reality: You’re crafting melodies, writing lyrics, recording multiple takes, layering vocals, mixing harmonies, fixing pitch — and doing all of this while expressing emotion that connects with people. --- 🎨 As a graphic designer: People think you just click a few buttons in Canva or Photoshop. Reality: You’re solving a visual problem, balancing colors, spacing, alignment, font psychology, and client taste — often with little time or budget — and sometimes no real brief 😅 --- 🎬 As a video editor: They think, “Just cut and paste clips.” Reality: You're telling a story frame by frame — syncing audio, adjusting timing, adding transitions, fixing lighting, color grading, sound design, and more… all while trying to make the client feel something. --- 🧠 The Truth: You're not "just doing creative stuff." You're thinking like a director, feeling like an artist, working like a technician, and delivering like a business — all at once.
