Hi! My name is Sarah Walk. I graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 2013 with a major in songwriting. Shortly there after, I signed with London based record label One Little Independent (Bjork, the Sugarcubes, Asgeir, Laura Misch) and Metropolis Publishing and began working on my debut album with producer Steve Brown (Laura Mvula, Rumor).

Since then I have written and co produced two subsequent full length albums alongside Leo Abrahams (Brian Eno, Imogen Heap, Regina Spektor, Jon Hopkins) and Grammy Award winning producer Tyler Chester (Sara Bareilles, Madison Cunningham, Margaret Glaspy). I have extensive co writing credits with Charlie Puth, Lil Wayne, Leo Abrahams, Pete Nappi (The Jonas Brothers, Jon Batiste, Gayle) Ethan Gruska (Phoebe Bridgers, Remi Wolf), Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint) Louise Bartle (Bloc Party) among others. I've written bespoke original music for the Apple TV Show 'the Bucaneers' and was featured on the Season 1 soundtrack. Other original music has been featured on Netflix, MTV, VH1, Sportsnet, and festival winning short films. I have extensive experience toplining on tracks for other producers and artists and am passionate about melody and lyric writing and my ability to help bring your sonic vision and story to life.

I have taught songwriting at Berklee College, Girls Rock n Roll Camps, and veterans with PTSD via Music Therapy programs.

I stepped away from music nearly a decade ago, and when I nervously brought Sarah a new song I'd written with an interest in recording it, she welcomed me with such warmth, kindness, and expertise. She created a space where I felt completely safe to be musical again. Every session was a joy—I always counted down the days until the next one. Her production elevated everything in ways I never could’ve imagined, and with her help, I got to finally release an original song. Sarah is so talented and just a dream to work with. I’m already trying to figure out how to get back in the studio with her!

As someone who has very limited music knowledge and experience, Sarah made something as daunting and complicated as songwriting feel easily broken down into bite-sized pieces that made me feel confident and excited to keep going. Her patient and calm energy helped ease any anxiety I felt leading up to sharing vulnerable music ideas. Sarah has a way of making her explanations and examples soak into your brain and stay there to marinate, until you can keep building on what you’ve learned the following week. Highly recommended, 10/10.
