Interview with The Southside of France
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My EP, You Won't Wanna Miss It. It was a test to see where I want to go with songwriting and a style change in general..
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'll try.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Making new music and styles.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are you going for?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be creatively open minded.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Interesting,fresh, and alternative.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Pharrell Williams. To put it simply, he's a genius and has one of the best ears in music. Teezo Touchdown as well because I see him doing great things for the creativity of Black music and people.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Give your ears a break and come back.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Alternative Hip Hop/Pop Rap?
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Experimentation.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Style and vibe when it comes to production. I also tend to like more raw vocal styles. Cobain's deliberate vocals in the In Utero album for example but of course it depends on the song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Instrumental then lyrics.

A: FL Studio, Logic, Pro Tools.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
