Aaron Mason

Guitarist / Mixing Engineer

Aaron Mason on SoundBetter

Mixer/editor dedicated to natural, dynamic sound with deep roots in punk, metal, and heavy rock. I focus on clarity, energy, and emotional impact without over-processing. Detail-oriented and collaborative, I aim to bring out the best in every performance.

I’m not just an engineer — I’ve toured, written, and recorded music for over 20 years. I know what it’s like to be on the other side of the glass, to spend months writing songs and then walk into a studio hoping someone gets what you’re trying to say. That’s the perspective I bring to every project — and why I care so much about getting the details right without losing the feel.

Whether I’m editing drums, mixing a full-length, or producing from the ground up, my priority is always to serve the song and the artist. I specialize in music that’s raw, honest, and heavy — rock, punk, hardcore, metal — but I’ve worked across genres and know how to adapt without compromising integrity.

My background includes years of professional studio work, national and international touring, and hands-on experience with everything from analog gear to modern digital workflows. If you’re serious about your sound and want someone who brings both technical expertise and a musician’s ear, I’d love to work with you.
