  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: my solo project Poison Ivy, my role was as the writer and co-producer. even though its been a few years since that release, it still gives me goosebumps

  4. A: I have just finished recording my mixtape

  8. A: Analog for feel, digital for convenience

  10. A: If they have an open mind and take in my input they'll never hear melodies the same way

  12. A: Meeting like-minded people

  14. A: Most common question is how fast can I get it done, my answer is always how fast do you need it.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: Most people assume that I cannot write melodies because they've only heard me rap

  18. A: The main question I ask is how willing are they to put everything on the line for this

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Done is better than perfect

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: a phone, laptop, mic, interface, and headphones

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I have been at it for 16 years now.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: As a solo artist, my style is melodic trap meets occassional conscious rap

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Eminem, The Weeknd, as my biggest influences, i feel like they would have alot to teach me

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Sure, when I'm making random beats with no goal in mind. I always give myself no more than 30 minutes to come up with a loop and if that track is worth continuing after 30 minutes you can start arranging and adding transitions and all that.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Hiphop, RnB, Trap, Soul, Indie

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: My strongest skill is having the inate ability to know the difference between a good melody and a great melody.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I've been told that I write the sweetest sounding melodies and my production always has that sparkling shimmering vibe.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: If I'm working for a client I always know what I'm gonna do before I even load up the project, getting in that mindstate is crucial for me because I pride myself on efficiency.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I got a basic setup at home; UR22C, SM58, HS5s. For mixing and mastering work I rent professional studios
