Tennessee Rose is country melancholy intertwined with soulful hope. I am a singer and I write the accompanying music on classical guitar, electric guitar and the keys, namely the keytar. I also write electronic music on the Maschine MK3.

Based in the Pioneer Valley, Tennessee Rose is country melancholy intertwined with soulful hope and the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Theresa Berard. Former bass guitar player of Watcher and keytarist and lead vocalist of Opel, Theresa’s incarnation as Tennessee Rose has been in the making since she was a child, singing somewhere Over the Rainbow out of earshot.

She grew up with an eclectic mix of influences, from Patsy Cline to The Gypsy Kings to Toni Braxton. Finally heeding the call, she is putting her voice and her guitar front and center with recently recorded Patsy Cline covers, “Strange” and “Leaving On Your Mind”.
