Boston based mixer Tom Iannello working with bands & artists to create art that connects with listeners and industry professionals. I want to deliver you a mix that competes in the market place and allows you to further yours and my career.
Artists I work with tour nationally and have been on the Vans Warped Tour, Riot Fest, Bamboozle, etc. But before that can happen you've got to have good songs, with good mixes. Together we can achieve that.
Some artists I've worked with include Transit (Rise Records), A Will Away (Triple Crown Records) Four Year Strong (Universal), & more.
I'm ready to work, my turn around time in most cases is less than the listed 7 Days.

Tom was extremely responsive and took all of the feedback we gave and made it happen. The results were fantastic, he really made the song sound how we had envisioned it. We would strongly recommend him and will use him again on future projects.
Just completed my second gig with Tom. Dude is prompt and professional. Drums sound like nothing else. Highly recommended.
Brilliant work — SA-4000 made my drums sound huge. Fast turnaround. Competitive pricing. Recommended.
Thomas did a superb job with a dense mix and brought out all the best elements of each instrument and track. The song now has a great mix that is ready for mastering.
Thomas exceeded all expectations. His skill in mixing and mastering brought my band's song to a whole new level. He provides exceptional value for the price he charges. I'm already planning on working with him for several other songs we have.
TI is definitely someone to consider for your project! He took the time to help us correct my mistakes on older songs, patient with all my questions, went over everything in detail, good communication, fast, made our song even better and added his own flavor to a part that really shined through. We'll use again.
As usual Thomas was extremely patient and accommodating during the mix process. In the end I was very happy with the mix!
As the other reviews show, Thomas is an exceptional audio engineer. What really stood out to me was his patience despite running into a few problems on my end early on in our correspondence. He worked with me and we got everything straightened out. His prices are surprisingly fair for his skill set and resume. I would recommend Thomas to anyone who is looking to take their sound to the next level.
Stellar work, awesome prices! Tom mixed a Country song for me recently and it's been turning heads. He matched my reference track exact with the drum mix and guitar blend. Definitely coming back soon!
Interview with Thomas Iannello
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Growing up I really admired the work that guys like Jerry Finn, John Feldman, Neal Avron, & Eric Valentine did. They were the sonic foundation for me as I got into music production.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I've got a hybrid mixing setup. Starting with my DAW I'm running Pro Tools 12 HD into a UA Apollo. I use various plugins from Slate Digital, Waves, UAD, & others. I do a lot of my processing using the Softube Console1, It allows me to mix hands on, turn knobs and really dig into a mix. For outboard gear, I put most of my mixes through a Stam Audio SA4000 (SSL Style) on the mix bus. I have a pair of 1176's I like to use on Vocals, Bass, Kick, Snare, ect. Last but not least I have a Retro Doublewide tube compressor that I like to use on a variety of sources. Best of both worlds with the hardware and software allows me to work creatively and intuitively.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: For me it always starts with the song. I feel like if a song sounds good performed with just a acoustic guitar and a voice then it will usually translate to a great production. Obviously this doesn't work for ever genre but it's a good rule of thumb for me.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I like to make big sounding productions that walk the line of larger than life, yet still natural sounding.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! The convenience of digital and workflow is vital when making music, but having analog gear in certain stages of the production, specifically mixing can really help take a production over the top and make it sound like a record!
