I'm the former co-owner of 1st Class Sounds Ltd. out of Nassau, Bahamas, Recording & Mixing Engineer, Producer, Drummer, & Badass Husband/Father.
Being born in Miami, FL and of Cuban/Caribbean Heritage, I grew up with a love & passion for all creative outlets. However, music hit me the hardest.
I started off playing Saxophone, then Drums, then Bass, and finally Electric Guitar. I will admit, I am a master of none, but I can ROCK THE HECK OUT OF THE DRUMS!
I started recording around the age of 14 (around 2001/2002), using a old Tascam 4 Track Cassette Recorder (Portastudio).
I'd record the local jam bands, ska bands, punk bands, basically any bands that would let me after their local shows at Churchills (South Florida).
I eventually got decent and got some equipment and would do live sound and live recordings at shows for bands until I moved to the Bahamas around 2015
I ended up working at The Beat Factory & Fame406 Studios which were operated/managed by Sosaman (Bahamas) at the time.
I worked with some of the best Caribbean artists in the game at the time! And, learned so much about production!
I ended up taking some time off (a hiatus) due to some personal stuff that was going on.
I figure it's time to come back, as I never left.
