Juilliard trained Opera Singer also specializing in jazz, musical theater, choral, and pop music.
Hi! I'm Nic. I'm a freelance opera singer (mezzo soprano) with a Master's Degree from the Juilliard School in NYC. I have 15 years of performance experience, singing a range of styles including musical theater, choral, jazz, and pop. I'd be your ideal singer for contemporary opera compositions, film scores, commercial work, song cycles, etc! I sing in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian.
I also write my own music and am available to help with original lyric and/or song composition.
I can record my vocals remotely using either a Shure MV7+ or Aston Spirit microphone with Logic Pro.

Interview with Nic Flores Thomas
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: My training is in classical voice/ opera, but I also have extensive experience with musical theater, choral singing, jazz, and pop!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skills are vocal consistency, range of dynamics, and quick music learning!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by a wide range of musicians. From classical composers like Strauss and Ravel to contemporary pop artists like Caroline Polachek and Oklou.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I am incredibly proud of the first single I released. It's a fun, electro-pop anthem called "POV." It's definitely a departure from my classical background, but I wanted to challenge myself to lean into other genre's I'm passionate about. On top of writing the entire song, I also co-produced. This was a catalyst to the EP that I'm currently working on!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on my first EP!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to be efficient, consistent, and open to all feedback to make your vision come to life.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio set up currently includes, an Aston Spirit mic, Shure MV7+ mic, Focusrite interface, and Logic Pro.
