  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I worked on an R&B Afrobeats song that went viral because of its amazing lyrics and instrumental. I produced the song.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I’m working on an EP with an artist that makes R&B soul music.

  8. A: I’ve not worked with analog devices yet. But so far I’ve enjoyed working with digital.

  12. A: I like the fact that I make money doing what I love and enjoy doing.

  14. A: My customers mostly ask me, “Why are you this good?” And I tell them, “it’s just hardwork and consistency”

  16. A: People always think I can sing just because I know how to write songs and produce.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: My studio monitors, my headphones, my laptop, my midi keyboard and my audio interface.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: My career path was computer engineering. I’ve been making music since 2021.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: My style is a blend of Afrobeats, afropop, Hip hop, R&B, afrobeat, reggae, dancehall, and pop.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I’ll love to work with Wizkid because I’ve always been a fan of his music and I’ll like to know what it feels like to create music with him.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Try to keep things as simple as possible. Don’t try to do too much.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: I usually work on Afrobeats, Hip Hop and R&B.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: My strongest skill is beat making and mixing.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: Authenticity.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: When it comes to mixing vocals, here is my mixing chain below. 1. Autotune pro(tuning the vocals) 2.surgical EQ 3.Compression 4.de-essing 5.Saturation 6.EQ to boost my high end Then I route my this to a separate channel where I add my reverb and delay. Although I have different approaches to mixing different songs.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: In my music studio, I use the Yamaha HS8 and the Rokit 5 G4 studio monitors. I also have my white coloured Arturia mkiii midi keyboard. I use Focusrite Scarlet Solo audio interface and I use the Audio technica M40X headphones for mixing.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: I’m inspired by musicians like Giveon, Chris Brown, Wizkid, Burna Boy and Drake. When it comes to mixing and mastering, I’m inspired by mixing professionals like Leslie Braithewaite and Kuk kharell and Sam harperer.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I make high quality Afrobeats, Hip hop and R&B instrumentals. I also provide vocal mixing and mastering services for my clients as well as writing hooks and verses.
