Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I helped an indie artist create their debut single by writing the hook, recording a feature verse, and assisting with vocal arrangement. That song landed them their first radio play — that’s a win we both shared.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I’m working on a new EP and several client projects — including custom verses, hooks, and feature vocals. Always keeping the pen moving.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Not yet, but I’m always looking to build a network of solid engineers, producers, and vocalists. Open to collaborations.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital — the flexibility and workflow speed let me focus on creativity. That said, I love analog-style plug-ins for warmth and character.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I deliver clean, high-quality vocals and lyrics that fit your vision — with a fast turnaround and unlimited revisions until you’re satisfied.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Turning thoughts and emotions into music that moves people. There’s nothing like hearing someone say, “That line hit me hard” or “You made my song come to life.”
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Q: Can you match my vibe or sound? A: Absolutely. I take time to understand your tone, style, and goals before writing or recording anything. Whether you need something melodic, gritty, emotional, or hype — I adjust my delivery and writing to match your vision exactly. Q: How fast can you deliver?** A: Most projects are done within 2–3 days, sometimes faster. If you need a rush turnaround, just let me know — I can usually make it happen. Q: Do you do revisions? A: Yes, I include **free revisions** because I want you to be fully happy with the final product. Your satisfaction is the priority. Q: Can I hear some examples of your work? A: Definitely — I have samples of verses, hooks, and full songs in different styles. Just ask, and I’ll send over what fits the vibe you're looking for.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That rap is just rhyming words. It’s really about storytelling, rhythm, emotion, and creating a mood that connects with the listener.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What’s the theme or mood of the track? Do you have reference songs or artists? Do you want something melodic, aggressive, chill, or emotional? What’s your deadline?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Look for someone who listens first and delivers with clarity. Chemistry matters. Make sure the artist understands your sound, goals, and vibe before you book.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: MacBook with Logic Pro X Apollo Twin Interface Neumann TLM 103 mic A MIDI keyboard A pair of studio headphones
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started writing at 13 and recording at 16. Over the years, I’ve built my own studio, worked with independent artists, and developed a catalog of original music. I’ve been doing this professionally for over 5 years now.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Smooth but gritty. Street-smart with emotional depth. I blend conscious bars with melodic hooks — think a mix of pain, hustle, and soul.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I’d love to work with J. Cole — he blends raw talent with wisdom, and I respect how he stays true to himself while evolving sonically.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don’t overcrowd the beat. Let the vocal breathe. Simplicity and space create emotion — it’s not always about how many sounds are in the mix, but how they complement the voice.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip-hop, rap, trap, R&B, and drill — but I’m open to anything with a strong vibe and message.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Writing catchy, meaningful lyrics and delivering them with energy and emotion. I also bring structure and creativity to songs to make them memorable and replay-worthy.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Authenticity, confidence, and a strong ear for melody and rhythm. My verses come with passion and clarity — I know how to deliver lines that hit hard and connect emotionally.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Once I get a beat or concept, I dive into writing lyrics that match the emotion and message. I record multiple takes for delivery options, then comp, mix, and tune the vocals if needed. I communicate clearly with my client to make sure they’re 100% happy.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I record using a professional home studio setup that includes a treated vocal booth, Audio-Technica or Neumann mic, Apollo Twin interface, and I mix in Pro Tools or Logic Pro X with Waves and FabFilter plug-ins.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by greats like J. Cole for storytelling, 50 Cent for melody and confidence, Drake for versatility, and producers like Timbaland and Hit-Boy for their innovative beats.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I help artists bring their visions to life by writing and recording custom rap verses, hooks, and full songs. Whether it's a feature verse, theme-based song, or top-line melody, I deliver polished vocals with strong lyrical content and emotion.
