A: My process is simple and focused on getting the best result for the artist: • I start by organizing the session and setting levels • Clean the vocal using EQ, compression, and de-essing • Apply effects like reverb and delay to match the vibe of the track • Use parallel compression and other techniques to add presence and power • Enhance the hook so it stands out • Finish with a clean, loud master ready for streaming I also allow revisions to make sure the artist is fully satisfied with the final mix.

A: I’m inspired by modern hip-hop and the engineers behind today’s clean, hard-hitting vocal mixes. Artists like Travis Scott, Future, and Drake have a strong sonic identity, and a big part of that comes from how their vocals are mixed. I pay attention to how top engineers create space, clarity, and energy in a mix, and I apply those ideas when working on my own projects.
