  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I sang the title track for the Bengali Film "Shesh Pata", also have been recognised by leading filmmakers from our regional industry.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: On my new original composition "Chal Pade"

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: No I don't know anybody. But yeah I'd recommend to some.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Anyday Analog/ acoustic. But it's not always possible, Hate playing strings in a midi.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: Will be the integral part of the song.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: The uncertainty, the process, every day the ear has demands for more or less

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Customers be like: I need a violin part but can't pay for the acoustic one. I be like : strangle me to death.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That it"s an easy job, sitting in a chair ,in an air conditioned room and still being anxious.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: 1. The deadline. 2. Their expectations/ reference regarding the song.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: I'm not a guy who's rushed into music. Abe because this is pure art, it needs care and compassion. Will seek patience from anyone hiring me. Art needs time and the process is a lone journey.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Laptop The soundcard A good studio headphone A midi keyboard And a notebook , obviously.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: Have been loving this since I started learning music at the age of 3. Understood the importance and significance of good sounds at the age of 10. Been tweaking and fondling sound designs since then.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: Definitely Charlie Puth, AR Rahman, Shankar Ehsan Lot, Dua Lipa, Bruno Mars

  30. A: Classical, Indie , Acoustic , Folk

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: Nurturing the client's demand. Understanding the quality of the sounds used. Understanding the mix.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: Probably a little indie feel, a little more aesthetic.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: Very optimistic and time friendly guy. I meet deadlines.

  38. A: Got 1. Cubase 13Pro 2. Yemaha hs5 studio monitors. 3. Evo 2i2 Soundcard 4. Arturia 61 keys Midi 5. Focusrite 4i4 2nd Generation

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: Hugely admire Charlie Puth for the production. Been an avid fan of Michael Jackson for the "ahead of his time" sounds.
