Endorse Juliette Reilly1 Reviews
Interview with Juliette Reilly
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A holiday EP that will work for ads!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise to clients is to deliver music that is creative, reliable, and aligned with their vision. I’m committed to understanding the brief, communicating clearly, and providing high-quality, broadcast-ready vocals and toplines on time. I aim to make the process smooth, collaborative, and solution-oriented while consistently delivering work that elevates the project and connects with audiences.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Creative problem-solving. I enjoy translating a brand or story into music that makes people feel something instantly. Every project is different, which keeps the work exciting and pushes me to stay versatile and innovative. I also love the collaborative nature of sync, working with teams to bring a vision to life while knowing the music will live alongside visual storytelling and reach wide audiences.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style blends playful, genre-bending pop with bold attitude and strong melodic hooks. Inspired by artists like Remi Wolf, M.I.A., Kesha, and Doja Cat, my sound is energetic, colorful, and personality-driven, balancing quirky, unexpected moments with clean, commercially accessible songwriting. I’m drawn to music that feels confident, expressive, and slightly left-of-center while still being highly catchy and sync-friendly.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Doja Cat -- it would be so much fun.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, hip-hop, brat rap, cinematic pop, indie pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Hook lines that work for sync!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a sync-focused creative approach that balances originality with strategic execution. I’m skilled at interpreting briefs, identifying emotional targets, and building melodies and lyrics that align with brand
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I review the creative brief to understand tone, references, and usage, then write toplines and lyrics tailored for sync. I record and produce polished, broadcast-ready vocals from my home studio, deliver quickly, and collaborate closely on revisions. Final files are delivered clean, organized, and spec-ready with stems and alt options as needed.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: UA Solo interface, Rode K2 Mic (Modeled after Manley) home studio, treated room.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Remi Wolf, Jack Antonoff, Taylor Swift
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I write custom spots for ads, sync briefs, custom projects, and many more. I sometimes will top-line for a producer or DJ that already has a track and needs vocals/lyrics/melody.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 10 years. I come from a background in musical theatre. Have been a YouTuber and professional singer/songwriter for 6 years.
