Engineer at Studio 713 (Houston) with 5+ years of experience delivering clean, wide, and industry-ready mixes for hip-hop and autotuned vocals.
I’m a mixing & mastering engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in hip-hop, trap, and autotuned vocal styles. My sound is clean, wide, and analog-inspired — designed to bring emotion and clarity to every track.
Currently based at Studio 713 in Houston, I’ve been trained and mentored in a professional studio environment, where we’ve worked on projects connected to artists like Key Glock, Travis Scott, and Don Toliver...
I recently mixed tracks for Yung V9, an emerging artist whose single hit 60k+ streams in just 15 days. I’m also open to fixing unfinished mixes or rush orders — with full focus and a professional mindset.
Clients often describe me as easy to work with, open-minded, and committed to making sure the final product sounds right — not just loud. Whether you’re an indie artist or a rising name, I’ll treat your music with the same level of care and quality I bring to every session.
Let’s make something timeless.

Interview with Vince Pham
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Personally, I like using a combination of both, because I don’t want to limit myself in any way—especially when it comes to music. Creativity flows best when you stay open to different approaches.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The part I enjoy most about being an engineer is the freedom to be creative and collaborate with incredibly talented artists. Honestly, you probably know the feeling—when you’re doing what you love, it’s hard not to have fun with it.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started my music journey back in 2018, simply because I was part of a local rap crew where everyone could rap, but no one really knew how to record or mix a complete track. I was the first to step up and take the initiative to learn recording techniques on my own. I’ve stayed consistent with it over the years—and I'm still doing it to this day.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My mixing style leans toward a modern sound, perfect for artists who use autotune and want a clear, defined vocal tone. It works well with most rap styles and melodic singing.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: In my view, I add a layer of personal emotion and character to every track I work on. I rely on my own experience to shape the sound, but I always stay closely aligned with the vibe the artist wants. The goal is to create something that feels true to them—while still carrying a subtle touch of unique artistic identity.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: You send me stems – I clean, arrange, and get to work. I focus on clarity, width, and making sure your vocal cuts through right. First mix draft → we fine-tune together until it’s ready to drop. You get radio-ready files. No fluff. Just real sound.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work I do for my clients is vocal mixing and tuning, especially for rap and melodic artists who use autotune. I focus on creating a clean, modern sound—tight vocals, wide stereo feel, and strong low end. I also handle things like stem mixing, beat balancing, mastering, and sometimes cleaning up messy sessions or fixing rushed mixes. My goal is always to bring out the artist’s vibe while making the track sound polished and industry-ready.
