A: I worked on Ari Lennox's last album, and I'm so proud of it because of how it propelled me in this industry. It was so fire to work along side of Jermaine Dupri, and Brian Michael Cox!

A: The most prevalent misconception about my work is that I am solely an artist. In reality, songwriting is my primary focus and serves as the foundation for my career. It is through writing that I sustain my professional endeavors and continue to evolve as a creative.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: My career path began on Broadway, where I honed my craft from 2018 to 2019 under the mentorship of esteemed NYC artists with extensive backgrounds in jazz bands and choirs. When the COVID-19 pandemic prompted me to return to my hometown of Atlanta, I seized the opportunity to focus on my music career. During my time in New York, I had already begun writing songs between performances, which facilitated a smooth transition to creating my debut EP upon my return. This project caught the attention of major labels, including Sony Music and Def Jam Recordings. Since then, I have had the privilege of writing a Billboard-charting hit titled “Pressure,” which has allowed me to tour the country as an opening act for the same artist. I have been actively pursuing my professional music career since 2020.

A: My style can be described as a fusion of soul pop and R&B, characterized by a relatable "girl next door" aesthetic. This blend allows me to convey heartfelt emotions while maintaining an approachable and authentic presence in my music. I strive to create melodies and lyrics that resonate with listeners, combining the richness of soul with the rhythmic elements of pop and R&B to craft a sound that is both engaging and personal.

A: My strongest skill lies in my vocal ability, which I have honed through extensive training and performance experience. Q: What's your typical work process?

A: My typical work process involves dedicating focused studio time from 12 PM to 6 PM, during which I concentrate on crafting the song efficiently. Upon completion, I promptly send an MP3 version to the client for their review and feedback. This collaborative approach allows us to make any necessary adjustments and finalize the song in a timely manner, ensuring that we meet project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

A: My studio setup is designed to facilitate high-quality music production and includes a Neumann U87 microphone, known for its exceptional clarity and warmth in capturing vocals and instruments. To ensure optimal sound quality, I utilize a pop filter to eliminate plosive sounds during recording. Additionally, I collaborate with a professional music engineer, whose expertise enhances the overall production process and ensures that each project meets the highest standards of quality. Together, we create a conducive environment for artistic expression and sonic excellence.

A: I draw inspiration from a diverse array of musicians and music production professionals who have made significant contributions to their genres. Kaytranada inspires me with his innovative approach to house music, constantly pushing the boundaries and redefining the genre for a new generation. **Nina Simone**, with her classical training and profound artistic expression, greatly influences my understanding of musicianship and the emotional depth that can be achieved through music. Additionally, I admire Beyoncé and Rihanna for their exceptional pop production and ability to blend various musical styles, setting trends and creating impactful music that resonates globally. Lastly, David Guetta serves as a significant source of inspiration for his expertise in electronic music production and his ability to craft engaging tracks that unite audiences.
