I’m Kay Study (real name: Issah Mohammed), a Ghanaian Afrobeat and Hip-Hop singer, songwriter, producer, and visual artist from Cape Coast. I’ve been making music since 2022, first as part of the duo Richkid & Gallo Khatel and now as a solo artist under WAYon Recordings, the flagship record label of WAYon Ltd., an independent entertainment company I founded.
My sound blends Afrobeat rhythms, Hip-Hop energy, and Highlife melodies, with a focus on honest emotions, personal experiences, and storytelling. My releases include BITG (Back In The Game), Silent, Activated, Die Young, Peace of Mind, and the collaborative project Stand Tall / Greatness with Oboy GASPY.
Beyond music, I work in graphic design and visual branding, often creating my own cover artwork and visual direction. I’m always open to working with artists, producers, songwriters, and brands looking to create something original.
