Get professional mixing and production from an SAE-trained audio engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering. I’ve been producing electronic music since 2015 and specialize in multi-genre mixing — primarily EDM, Pop, Hip-Hop, and R&B. I’ll help bring your vision to life with clean, dynamic, and release-ready sound.
Hey, I'm Branko Atanasovski, also known as Attano. I am a music producer, audio engineer, and DJ originally from Macedonia and currently based in Switzerland. I've been creating music since 2015 and have developed a strong passion for helping artists shape their sound, and bringing ideas to life — with a particular focus on music production and mixing.
With a background in music, I graduated from primary music school where I honed my skills in classical piano, music theory, harmony, and solfeggio. I further refined my expertise by earning a Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering from SAE Institute in Zürich, where I specialized in Music Production, Mixing, and Harmony in Music. I specialize in Electronic, Pop, HipHop, R&B and Rock, and I draw inspiration from a wide range of styles. My goal is to push creative boundaries, explore new sounds, and ensure every track I work on stands out. I’m passionate about helping artists shape their unique sound and make their music the best it can be.
While I’m just starting out and don’t have credited tracks yet, I’ve built a portfolio that shows off my mixing skills and passion for making every track shine. Let’s make music that stands out. :)

Interview with Attano
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strengths lie mostly in Mixing. Over the last couple of years I've working hard on improving my technical and creative skill in post-production song mixing. I try to find the most important elements, what the vibe of the track and emphasize it through various mixing techniques.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: When producing, I try to tell a story through arrangement and melodies. I believe melody (or cadence in old school rap) is what we first notice and remember, which is why crafting a melody which will be remembered and portray a feeling is essential to song-writing and production. When mixing, I try to feel what the song is telling me and what are the feelings that its trying to portray. The feeling is already there, through sound and I just shape it. I try to emphasize that feeling and bring it out in front, making every element distinct and audible. I believe in mixing in 3 directions, for width, depth and height, which creates a whole new space where the song lives and it gives meaning to the sounds.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to stay organized so I never get lost in a session. My sessions usually start off with listening to all of the tracks individually to get a sense of what their purpose is. After that I arrange, colour code and group them. I split most of the songs into 5 major sections: Drums, Bass, Vocals, Instruments (Harmony) and SFX (Effects). My session is set from the beginning, including reverbs and delays arranged in the style of Chris Lord-Alge, with monitoring and referencing plugins on the mix bus.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I mostly work in the box, because I don't own any analog gear as of yet. For monitoring I use Yamaha HS7's and Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro. For production sessions I mainly work with FL Studio, and sometimes with Ableton. My mixing sessions are done predominantly in Ableton due to workflow. During my studies I used Pro Tools and am perfectly comfortable with it, and mixing in Ableton comes just as a personal choice. I work mainly with UAD plugins, since I find that their emulations of analog gear sounds the best.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I listen to a wide range of music stemming from Metal all the way to Classical music. Some of my favourite artists include Twenty One Pilots, Linkin Park, Chris Luno, Chet Faker, NoMBe, Allan Rayman, Eric Clapton, Gizmo Varillas, Eminem, Biggie Smalls etc. I strive for production and song-writing that stands out, that leans more on the creative side and keeps the listener engaged throughout the whole journey of sound.
