Hey — I’m Liyam. Music producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist with 10+ years of twisting knobs and making noise that somehow works. I work fast, stay chill, and care about the details. Let’s cook up your next track, remix, or beat. Good vibes only!
I’m Liyam — a music producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist with 10+ years of experience blending electronic, house, and crossover styles into unique, energetic tracks.
I specialize in:
Original track production
Remixes and mashups
Guitar licks, leads, rhythms and more across various genres
DJ edits for live sets
Custom beats for brands and content creators
I’ve released music through respected labels, built a fanbase through my Lymez & DiCAPUA projects, and produced tracks that got played in clubs, festivals, and big channels like MTV, HULU, Fox and more, and also featured in Artlist.
My passion is to make tracks that people feel — whether it’s a late-night banger, a vibey remix, or a Lo-fi tune to listen to while you study.
Let’s create something special and full of emotion together!

Interview with Liyam Dicapua
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: An EP for one of my aliases, 4 collabs, 1 ghost production, and a brand new sample pack!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Every new project feels like a fresh and exciting opportunity. It constantly challenges me to be a better musician and create something even better than the last.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: “How much does it cost?” 😂 Going for the cheapest option often costs more in the long run with bad results and bad vibes. I focus on delivering quality and making sure it’s worth the investment on the clients' end.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That music production is easy — like pressing a button and boom, a hit track.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are you hoping to achieve? What’s your end goal? Who’s your target audience? Do you have some reference tracks? Is this personal or commercial? And of course get into more detail as the project advances.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be super clear about what you’re looking for. Ask all your questions upfront and make sure there’s good chemistry. The vibe and mutual respect between client and producer matter just as much as the track.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started as a guitar player back when I was 13. I learned how to play the guitar, got my electric guitar and became a fan of Rock & Metal. Later discovered music production when I was 15, and producing my way to the top ever since.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Adaptable. I wear different hats for every project, adjusting my sound and vibe to fit each genre and vision. I can mold myself like plasticine lol
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A GUITAR of course A laptop Headphones An external sound card and a mic
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Skrillex. His creativity has no limits, and he’s basically reshaping the industry right now. Every track he drops is next-level.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: SURE. Always get feedback from the right people. Need a mix opinion? Ask someone who specializes in mixing. Need melody feedback? Ask someone who writes killer melodies. Choose your critics correctly.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mainly various House sub-genres, Lo-Fi, Trap, and sometimes Bass music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: A sharp ear for melodies, harmonies, and progressions. I’m the first to turn a simple idea into a hook that sticks in your head for days lol
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring soul and emotion to my productions — often through expressive guitar parts. I’m all about creating memorable licks and hooks, shaped by years of transcribing guitar pieces and covers in my teens.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Start with reference tracks → create the main idea and proof of concept → build a full structure → sound design → FX and layering → tweak the details → mix → master.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I run everything on an ASUS ROG Strix laptop, with a Roland A49 keyboard, RME Babyface interface, Rode NT1 mic, PRS Custom 24 guitar, Marcus Miller V7 bass, and a ton of plugins inside my favorite DAW — Cubase. ♥
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Too many to count! Seven Lions, San Holo, Tchami, INZO, Skrillex, Porter Robinson, Zhu, Madeon… and on the guitar side: Guthrie Govan, Jason Becker, Tim Henson. Plus, producers like Timbaland who know how to keep it fresh.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually get hired to produce beats and instrumentals for various projects — from commercial music and podcasts to YouTube channels, dancefloor tracks, and club bangers. Lately, I’ve also been recording guitar parts for clients in genres like Lo-Fi, Hip-Hop, Trance, and beyond.
