Part of PCH Studios, Wisconsin. Had great feedback from Grammy Award Winning Engineers such as David Yungin, Teezio, Prizzie, Curtis Bye & Devvon Terrell. Engineered for many artists such as 414BigFrank of On The Radar. I offer UNLIMITED revisions, meaning we don't stop until you are 100% happy with your art.
My name is Sean White. I am a mixing engineer that works remotely in the UK. I have engineered for hundreds if not thousands of artists all over the world within the last 15 years. My expertise started within hip hop but I am growing my portfolio within other genres too. I receive fantastic feedback from customers but also other amazing grammy award winning mixing engineers in the industry who have listed to songs I’ve mixed and produced.
The best part of my offering is that I offer unlimited revisions. My view is this... this is your art, that you created and I want to bring this to life and make it sound exactly like you thought it would in your mind. We don't stop until we get there.

Interview with Sean White Music
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I worked on a project with Byron Highton which was a song I recorded and mixed. This song was a special tribute to his brother who was tragically lost to knife crime some years back. I think that one sits with me the most.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I’m constantly working on mix projects for customers. I would say I always have a big queue which is great and shows what I’m doing is well sought after.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I’m aiming mainly towards digital these days as workflows are easier for me and I don’t necessarily think there’s a huge difference anymore between the two. One gives me mobility where the other doesn’t. I do try to invest in analog gear that has an ease of workflow like the digital world. There are a lot more companies now trying to bridge the gap which is great to see.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I won’t stop working on a track until you are 100% happy with it.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love seeing reactions to a final mix.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: I think most common is questions around tone or effects. I’ll get questions like can you make it warm or can you create an airy top end etc. can you add depth is a common one too. I think these questions are helpful at times to get an understanding of the direction they want to go in.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it’s easy or that you can just buy a plugin and use a preset and it’ll do it for you. Or that AI can do our job now.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What popular artists have influenced your style. What creative effects would you like to see in the track. Do you have a rough mix you’ve attempted yourself?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure your recordings are done to the best of your ability. Record at lower levels (avoid clipping) and watch for distance when recording vocals to avoid pops and mouth clicks being harsh coming in.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: If we still had access to power supply then it would be: MacBook Audio Interface (Apollo) Headphones (Slate VSX) Microphone (Lauten or Austrian Audio) Monitors (Adam DV3 for transportation reasons)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started as a rapper myself over 15 years ago recording myself and other local artists and as the years went on I become more and more interested in mixing and mastering and perfecting a song. I’ve been doing this now for over 15 years working with in excess of a thousand artist tracks from all over the globe. Most my recent success came from the platform Fiverr before I decided to branch out and use other platforms and build relationships in the industry.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Clean & balanced but with nice movement throughout to create feeling
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Growing up my favourite UK rapper was Chip, Devlin, Ghetts, Kano etc. I’d love to work with one of these guys and contribute to their journey.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Gain stage every move you make!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip hop of all types
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocal mixing, rap or melodic
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring balance and volume. I think those are my biggest skills I can create a clean feeling with depth. All my mixes are commercially competitive and I make sure everything will translate to streaming services
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I typically take about 2 to 3 days to finish the first mix. This is usually schedule dependent but I also spend time after finishing a mix seeing how it translates across many devices before I send back to a customer. Once it’s delivered I then work on any notes the customer has until they are 100% happy it’s finished.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have access to professional studios when needed or I use a home setup in a room within my home where I have top equipment I spent thousands on including thousands spent on softwares to bring the best sound and workflow.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired but such a wide range of artists and professionals. I am a founding member of the Help Me Devvon group and Devvon was a huge inspiration for me to take music seriously.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing and mastering hip hop tracks. I have done 70% mixes where the customer instrumental was a two track and they needed me to mix their vocals into the track. The rest would be full stem mixes.
