Hans Hannemann is a musician, recording - and mixing engineer from The Netherlands. His mixes are known for their musicality, openness and vintage warmth. He mixes on a vintage MCI console and vintage gear such as an EMT plate reverb and real tape echo's. He's worked with all kinds of artists ranging from local heroes to The Teskey Brothers.
Being s musician himself (songwriter, singer/pianist, guitarist) Hans knows and feels what songs need to speak and breathe. In this age of over-processing and over compressing Hans mixes with a more natural and musical mindset. Using mostly his faders on his trusted custom MCI console and some analog flavoring he makes sure dynamics stay intact and the music sounds open and earnest. If you want a musical warm mix for styles ranging from Americana to rock to vintage pop and soul music he's your man.
