Really can’t recommend Christian more highly. He has taken his time to really listen to our project and identify areas where improvements can be made. When I first contacted Christian, we already had a few of masters done by other people, but I was still not quite happy with the result. The changes that christian suggested then made, plus mastering of the project really improved the sound drastically. The end result is fantastic and such a vast improvement on anything else we have done.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: PC DAW, INTERFACE, MICROPHONE, COMPRESSOR, HEADPHONES
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started making music at the age of 8. I was 12 when we got the first PC. Since then :)
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Clear, defined, good audible peppered with some nice effects.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: There are many. But to be honest, Calvin Harris. He is the number one songwriter in modern dance music. I would like to see his approach.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: The Pultec EQ trick. Especially for Kick. Boost the center frequency of the bass drum and attenuate the octave above.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Modern Pop to Rock Metal and a lot of Hip Hop lately
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Editing... maybe one of the most underrated skill. But it is the core!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a high level of attention and editing skills, plus giving mixes depth, punch and clarity.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Drums, Bass, Guitars, Vocals, Effects, Keys... most important to me are drums. Thats like the fundament of a metal song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: The studio is simple but effective. I have a proper recording chain and descent acoustics. I am focusing more on in the box mixing. I think it is better to strive for a certain sound when you know your tools best, rather then getting too many tools.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: A lot to mention. I like the sound of American and Swedish death metal and deathcore bands, as August Burns Red, The Ghost Inside, Wage War, As I lay Dying, Katatonia, and many more.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most common is mixing their recorded stuff and enhance and complete their product.
