Horns (Including Severance C&M), woodwinds, guitars, vocals & engineering work. Tired of VST horns and loops? Add a natural feel to your songs with some horn lines or a guitar part that makes your record shine! Quick turnarounds and always willing to work with you to make your record sound tailored to you.
My name is Greg Lou and I am a vocalist, producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and engineer currently residing in Highland Park, CA. I specialize in writing horn lines, vocal parts and doing full production including keys, guitar, bass and others. I have experience both in releasing my own music and doing productions for indie artists out of LA and NYC. I won the Pickup Music Emerging Artists Fund in 2021 and started connecting more with my online audience. I pioneered the "brady bunch" video on instragram which is a 9 camera video block with 9 instruments either doing a cover or an original tune with a full intro, chorus and breakdown under 1 min. My horn work has even taken me to record music for the season 2 finale of Severance on Tuba and I was also in the show as a member of the Choreography and Merriment Marching Band. I have toured as the bassist of several band out of NYC, spanning the east coast and the south. I also have experience as an engineer at Manhattan Center Studios in NYC working on projects such as The Music Man, The Lot, Miscast & Red Bull BC One. When you hire me you hire someone with the experience necessary to make your record sound authentic and true to you, don't waste your time with loops and VST instruments when you can have the real thing! I play all horns except for flute and french horn, let me know how I can aid your project.
