Mixing & Mastering Engineer

I am an Avid certified audio educator with several years of experience recording, mixing, and mastering music of all genres, but especially hip-hop and rock. I have taught music production to students as young as 5 and currently teach audio engineering and live production at a technical high school on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

My name is Chris Jones and I am offering services as a recording engineer and an audio mixing and mastering engineer. I have been working with music production, including recording, beat production, mixing, and mastering for 6 years since I was in college. I have a bachelor's in Music from Towson University and a Master's in Music Technology with a studio emphasis from Southern Utah University. I am an Avid certified specialist as well as an Avid certified educator. I currently teach at Worcester Technical High School in Maryland where I founded and run the audio engineer program. I love my job, but still have the itch to work outside the classroom so I am looking for some gig work from time to time. On top of my personal equipment, I have access to top-of-the-line equipment and software in my classroom and recording studio. If you hire me, I will work with you to give the best product possible and offer my advice as a classically trained musician and audio engineer.
