Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio combines professional analog and digital tools for recording and mixing, with an outboard collection featuring the AMS Neve 1073SPX, Tube-Tech CL 1B, SSL 4000k Revival Channel Strip, SSL BUS+, and SSL Fusion. This setup offers a versatile palette for shaping vocals and instruments, adding analog warmth and character, and delivering clear, cohesive mixes with depth and punch.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by Hip hop, R&B and Pop music styles that blend contemporary and even alternative elements. I enjoy live productions as well as world music from various countries.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I primarily work on mixing for independent artists, producers, Most projects involve taking a song from a rough or demo stage and turning it into a polished, release-ready track with clarity, balance, and emotional impact. I also handle vocal production, cleanup, and enhancement to make sure the performance translates clearly and connects with the listener.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by organizing and cleaning the session to make sure everything is tight and ready to mix. From there, I focus on building a solid foundation with gain staging and balance before moving into vocals, which are always the priority. I then shape the mix with EQ, compression, and spatial effects to create depth and width. Once the mix is locked in, I move into mastering to ensure the track translates well across all platforms. I keep communication open throughout and provide revisions until the record feels right.
