Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: One project I’m especially proud of is “Baby It’s You,” one of my original songs. I was involved throughout the entire creative process as the songwriter, performer, producer, and mixing engineer, taking the song from the initial idea to the finished production. I’m particularly proud of it because I was able to combine my love for classic 60s-inspired songwriting and arrangements with my own modern production approach, while keeping the emotion and melody at the center of the track.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: At the moment, I’m working on my own original music and upcoming releases, while continuing to develop my production, songwriting, and mixing portfolio. I’m also looking to collaborate with other artists and take on new projects where I can contribute as a producer, musician, and mixing engineer.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: I’m still building my network on SoundBetter, so I don’t currently have anyone I’ve personally worked with on the platform that I could confidently recommend. I’d rather recommend someone based on firsthand experience.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: I prefer a hybrid mindset. I love the warmth, character, and imperfections associated with analog sound, but I also value the flexibility, precision, and creative possibilities of digital production. My goal isn’t to choose one over the other it’s to use whatever best serves the song.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: My promise is to treat every song as if it were my own. I’ll listen carefully to your vision, communicate openly throughout the process, and put creativity, musicianship, and attention to detail into every decision. My goal is not just to deliver a polished track, but to create something that truly represents you as an artist.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: What I like most is bringing an idea to life. I love taking something as simple as a melody, chord progression, or voice memo and turning it into a complete song. Every project is different, so I get to experiment with new sounds, instruments, and production techniques while helping artists create something that feels uniquely theirs.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: The most common question is, “Can you help me turn my idea or demo into a finished song?” My answer is yes. Whether you have a voice memo, a rough demo, or a more developed track, I can help with the arrangement, instrumentation, production, editing, mixing, and mastering to turn it into a polished, release-ready song.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: The biggest misconception is that music production is just about making a track sound good. A producer also helps shape the arrangement, emotion, dynamics, instrumentation, and overall identity of a song. The technical side matters, but knowing what the song needs and sometimes what it doesn’t need is just as important.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I usually ask about the vision and emotion behind the song, their musical references and influences, and what they want the final track to sound like. I also ask what stage the song is currently in, what they need from me production, arrangement, recording, mixing, or mastering and whether they have any specific creative ideas they want to preserve. Clear communication from the beginning helps me understand the artist and deliver something that feels true to their identity.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Look for someone who understands your vision, not just someone with technical skills. Share references, explain what you want the song to communicate, and be open to creative collaboration. The best results happen when there’s good communication and trust, and when both the artist and producer are focused on making the song the best version of itself.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: I’d take my Gibson J-45, Apollo Twin X, PC with Pro Tools, AKG C214, and a MIDI keyboard. That would give me everything I need to write, record, produce, and experiment with ideas even on a desert island.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: My career path started with studying music production and technology, where I developed skills in recording, songwriting, arranging, mixing, and audio production while also becoming a multi-instrumentalist. Since graduating, I’ve continued developing my own music, producing and mixing projects, working in audio post-production, and expanding my experience through programs such as Berklee College of Music’s Aspire program in Boston. I’m still early in my professional career, but I’ve been making and producing music for several years and continue to build my portfolio with every project.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: I’d describe my style as melodic, versatile, and detail-oriented, blending classic musical influences with modern production. I focus strongly on songwriting, memorable melodies, harmonies, and arrangements, while experimenting with different sounds and genres to give each song its own identity.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I’d love to work with Paul McCartney. His approach to songwriting, melody, harmony, and arrangement has been a huge influence on me. I’d especially enjoy combining that classic songwriting sensibility with modern production techniques while keeping the emotion and musicality at the center.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Always serve the song first. Great production isn’t about adding more layers or using more plugins it’s about understanding what the song is trying to communicate and making every arrangement, sound, and mixing decision support that emotion.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I mainly work on pop and rock, but I enjoy experimenting across different genres and combining influences from classic and modern music. I also work with acoustic music, R&B, and Latin influences. My approach is versatile, so I’m comfortable adapting the production, arrangement, and sound to each artist and song rather than sticking to one specific style.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My strongest skill is turning a musical idea into a complete production. I combine songwriting, arrangement, multi-instrumental musicianship, and production skills to understand what a song needs and build around its core idea. I’m also very versatile across genres, which allows me to experiment with different sounds while keeping the artist’s identity at the center.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring a combination of musicianship, creativity, and technical production skills to a song. Since I play multiple instruments, I can approach a track from both a producer’s and musician’s perspective, helping with arrangements, harmonies, instrumentation, and overall dynamics. I focus on understanding what makes each song unique and enhancing its emotion and identity rather than forcing it into a specific sound.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: My process usually starts with understanding the artist’s vision, references, and what they want the song to communicate. From there, I develop the arrangement and production, experimenting with instrumentation, sounds, and textures while keeping the song itself at the center. I then move into recording and editing, followed by mixing and mastering to create a polished, release-ready track. Throughout the process, I like to stay in close communication with the artist and incorporate feedback so the final result feels true to their vision.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: My studio setup is centered around Pro Tools Studio, with a Universal Audio Apollo Twin X Duo Gen 2 audio interface, KRK studio monitors, and an AKG C214 condenser microphone. I also have a variety of instruments, including electric and acoustic guitars, basses, keyboards, and electronic drums, which allows me to record and produce complete arrangements in-house. I work with professional software and plugins from FabFilter, Universal Audio, Neural DSP, Soundtoys, Valhalla, Spectrasonics, Native Instruments, Superior Drummer, and iZotope, giving me a flexible setup for recording, production, mixing, and mastering.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I’m inspired by musicians and producers who combine strong songwriting with creative and detailed production. Some of my biggest influences are The Beatles, Queen, Coldplay, Toto, and Electric Light Orchestra, as well as producers like George Martin, Quincy Jones, and Max Martin. I especially admire professionals who experiment with different genres, arrangements, and recording techniques while still keeping the emotion and identity of the song at the center.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I mainly work in music production, mixing, and audio editing, helping artists turn their ideas and demos into polished, release-ready songs. My work often includes arranging and producing tracks, recording and editing vocals and instruments, mixing, and preparing final masters. I’m comfortable working across different styles, especially pop, rock, R&B, and acoustic music, and I also have experience with audio post-production and composition for visual media.
