Indie, Folk, Singer Songwriter

John Ward on SoundBetter

Let's make you sound like you : - )

Hi! I work primarily as an artist and producer, producing mostly indie and indie folk singer-songwriters, including myself. I can include all instruments played, editing, production, songwriting, mixing, and mastering for a flat rate. I also can do individual work, such as mixing or songwriting or even just singing or collaborating. I just love making all sorts of music with friends, old and new.

Take a listen and ask any questions you might have! Take care!!

  12. A: That I'm able to handle all aspects of writing or making a song.

All preamps are outboard (Neve, Api, Great River, Hardy, etc), Microphones are top notch (Neumann, etc) and versitile (Tube, Ribbon, etc), and the processing and listening stage is maximum quality (36 channels of Avid conversion and Neumann kh310 monitors with 750 subwoofer). Analog instruments range from vintage drum kits to vintage synthesizers (original Juno 6, Polysix, etc) to vintage amplifiers (60's Fender, 90's Matchless) and vintage guitars (Fender, Gibson, Martin, etc). Fun optional instruments include 12 strings, mandolins, banjos, etc.

  20. A: Anyone who loved to make music.

  21. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  22. A: I am often an 'all in' producer. I can take a song or a melody and add everything around it, including all instrumentation, production, engineering, editing, and mixing.
