  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I worked as a recording mixing engineer. On a cover of we are the world. .

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I currently working on at this time a pop and R&B project.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Not at this time. Just starting to build an online presence.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: I would choose analog. It has more of a warmer sound.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: Striving for a success to get your song to the top it takes a lotta patience and time, commitment, long hours. Once that song is complete. It is worth it?.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Surprising the Clients with a Radio Ready mix?.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: When could the recording session start?. Does there need to be studio musicians that attend the session?. is there going to be refreshments, such as drinks and food and gear provided at the session?.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: Clients walk in the session and want a full ready radio mix. It takes time bringing in that music mix.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: I would ask the client how long have they been playing music for how many years?. Any particular style that you want your music mixes to sound like?.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Look for somebody that’s dependable and reliable ,and thorough with their work.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: My career path started with a strong interest in recording, mixing engineer, production. I any relevant education, training, or early experience], which helped me build a solid foundation. Within the years, I have worked on various projects that allowed me to grow my skills in specific areas relevant to like recording, in sessions editing, mixing, interviewing. I have been doing this professionally for number of 28 years in the year currently 2025. During that time, had the chance to work with independent clients, and moving toward the major, mainstream clients. Independent record companies and the major record companies, the types of teams, and each experience has added to my understanding of how to create high quality, engaging work. I’m passionate about what I do and always looking for ways to improve and learn more.A rewarding uplifting keeping it positive special times for, several years to go.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: "I’d describe my style as adaptable, collaborative, and focused on results. I value clear communication and try to tailor my approach based on the situation and the people I’m working with. Whether I'm working independently or as part of a team, I aim to stay organized, proactive, and open to feedback. I also believe in staying calm under pressure and being solution-oriented, especially when challenges come up.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I’d love to work with for example, someone like Ariana Grande she has smooth rich, smooth vocals. Her music pushes boundaries both sonically and emotionally. From a mixing perspective, Ariana Grande's work blends live instrumentation with electronic textures in a really unique way, and I find that kind of challenge exciting. It’s the kind of project where mixing becomes not just about technical clarity, it is about storytelling bringing in the listener. Having strong lyric content supports a good song. It is the tone, and dynamics to serve a deeper emotional experience. I’m drawn to artists who are about their organic natural sound and open to creative collaboration, and I think working with artist like that would push me to grow and innovate even more.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Gain staging is everything.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: At the moment I’m working on a pop project, and have a hip-hop or R&B song in the works.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: I am a problem solver and active listener which helps me adapt to any situation. I've been in sessions where I act as a therapist, psychologist, mentor and producer all in the same day.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring top-notch skills and years of recording experience. I make sure that the artist is at their best by providing feedback in a positive way.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: Getting here setting up gear and session. Checking all the cable connections, headphone levels and mic inputs. Setting up music stands and checking in with the artist about other accommodations. Making sure everyone is comfortable and prepared before beginning the recording session.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: I’m inspired by a wide range of musicians and producers who each bring something unique to the table. Bruno Mars inspires me with his incredible versatility, live performance energy, and the way he blends old-school funk and soul with modern pop. Kendrick Lamar pushes boundaries lyrically and conceptually and his storytelling and social commentary are on another level. Dr. Dre is a legend. His collaborations with Snoop Dogg are something I really admire. I’m also influenced by bands like Tool, whose complex arrangements show how powerful music can be when it's both on the technical side and emotional side.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: Most of the work I do involves vocal recording, editing, tuning, and mixing for student projects and independent artists. I specialize in helping artists get clean, professional-sounding vocals for class assignments, portfolio pieces, and demos. Whether it's comping takes, pitch correcting, or getting the mix to feel just right, my focus is always on making the performance shine while keeping it natural and expressive."
