Robert Rupp on SoundBetter

I’m a Berlin-based music producer and mixing engineer with a diverse background in production, recording, and sound design across music, theater, advertising, and contemporary art.

Since 2021, I’ve been part of the creative collective Fluorescent Adolescent, where I focus on music production, vocal recording, and mixing/mastering. My work spans genres from experimental electronic to indie and alternative pop.

In early 2022, I joined the renowned Berliner Ensemble for a theater production, where I was responsible for original composition, sound design, and live mixing — a pivotal experience that deepened my approach to storytelling through sound.

In 2023, I worked as a freelance sound producer for Scholz & Friends, creating tailored music and audio for advertising campaigns. Most recently, I collaborated with artist Marion Ehrsam to design the immersive soundbed for her installation “Ratten” at Kommunale Galerie Berlin.

My academic background combines Musicology and Business Administration at Humboldt University
