Indie Pop/Rock Session Guitar

I'm a melodic guitarist with an ear for finding parts that fit well with existing arrangements. Inspired by the post-punk bands of the 80s, I've had lots of practice writing riffs for various indie and alternative bands. Outside of playing I have also trained in music production to better understand the guitar's part in a full mix.

Whilst I'm not a face-melting lead player, my distinct melodic style is perfect for artists who want a strong hook that isn't at the forefront of their mix. What makes me different from many other lead guitarists is that I put effort into serving the song, rather than forcing an impressive part where it doesn't fit. My best work sounds like it has been there all along, almost like I was in the room where the song was first written!

As well as lead playing I'm a strong (grade 7) rhythm player, and have access to a range of distinctive guitars and pedal sounds through my versatile setup.
