Platinum selling record artist / producer, feature film scorer, professional drummer and keyboard player and Ableton Live guru.
Growing up in a musicians family I have a wide knowledge of different music genres and references, which makes me a very eclectic and versatile producer and musician.
I’ve been working professionally as an artist/musician/producer for the last 15 years. I’ve had the privilege of being able to tour massive venues, meet extraordinary people and learn from some of Europe’s top producers.
I now have a full studio setup with high end gear so turnaround times are mostly swift.
Recently I’ve been doing a lot of film and advertisement scoring, including two Dior ads and scoring, producing and mixing an animated feature film that has topped 8 million admissions worldwide.
My expertise lies in songwriting, production, arrangement and instrumentalisation, as well as vocal arrangement (I have been singing and arranging voices since I can remember).
I have also worked as an musical director on several big shows in France and Belgium, much thanks to my very advanced knowledge of Ableton Live in a performance situations. I am certain that I can lend a helping hand to improve your live show, whether as a band or a solo artist.

Egil and the band, Puggy, is a dream to work with. Extremely professional throughout the whole mixing process. They delivered a top notch recording and arrangement that made the transition seamless. And most of all fantastic songs! Egil writes his feedback in a positive and constructive manner. Can't recommend them enough!
Interview with Egil F
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Analog for it's warmth and non-linear behaviour, digital because it's pretty damn practical. :)
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: We have a great little studio setup with very high end gear, with most things plugged in and ready to go whenever inspiration strikes. I usually work on Ableton, but know my way around Logic and Pro Tools very well. The signal chain is very important to me, so every step of our studio setup has been fine-tuned to give the best possible results. I am also a bit of a synth geek and own about 20 synths dating from the early 70's until now.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My 60's Ludwig drums, minimoog, upright piano, U47 and high-end sound interface. You can do pretty much anything with that =)
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I think I'm very good at understanding what vibe people are going for and steering a recording in that direction.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I can help bring life to a song by changing around dynamics and voicing in the playing. I believe that feeling and emotion is as important as technical playing, and that both are as apparent to the end-listener.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I'm lucky enough to have a pretty multi-facetted profile, so I get to do all kinds of different jobs. Most likely it will just be instrumental performance to replace loops or midi performances that may lack a bit of life. Production or additional production is probably where I shine, as it combines a lot of what I love about instrumentation and arrangement and I know how to breathe life into a song.
