My name is Alex Karras: artist, songwriter; producer; multi-instrumentalist; and so much more. I make music 24/7 with an emphasis on creativity, inspiration, and most importantly impact. As a student at the pre-eminent college for music, Berklee, I have an overarching understanding of what makes certain music pop.

I began my journey almost 15 years ago studying classical guitar and piano eventually rooting the basis of my music theory knowledge. My love for performing eventually brought me to songwriting, where instead of following the schedule of a normal teenager, I would spend my nights creating, singing, and improving my craft. As a result of my relentless writing and lack of recorded media, I taught my self the foundations of production starting with Reason as my first digital audio workstation (DAW) and then moving towards Logic through GarageBand. Little did I know how involved I would become within this world of composition. After years of studying songwriting, production, and creative techniques both by myself and under the mentorship of my Berklee professors, I have developed a workflow and mindset synonymous with professionalism.

Currently I have worked with and am working with a handful of talented songwriters, producers, engineers, and performers to achieve both mine and their creative goals.
