In 24 hours, I can lay down drums with a feel inspired by Questlove and a bit of Anderson .Paak’s deep-pocket soulful energy. Jazz school and playing in church opened the door for me to record at Abbey Road and Angel Studios, where I learned recording techniques firsthand. Drum teching for Little Simz taught me how to choose and tune my gear wisely
Hi, I'm Pat. My main priority is to bridge the gap between drumming and songwriting. Both the drum tone and the parts themselves have to align with the nuances of your song.
I believe the best results come when the creative process happens organically, with no stress over day rates. Instead, I work through per-song deals.
Especially in remote sessions, communication and real-time feedback are key. I’m open to a collaborative spirit while working to make your vision come alive.
I listen to a lot of Early 2000s R&B: Lauryn Hill, Sabrina Claudio, Jill Scott & Erykah Badu or Contemporary Soul: Pip Millett, H.E.R., Daniel Caesar, Tom Misch & Jordan Rakei
My studio was custom built for recording drums in Brixton, London. The room is fully tuned and treated and has a great controlled room sound. I'm endorsed by Murat Diril Cymbals and set up my gear from scratch for every session. So let's use the internet to actually connect and meet through a call before we get anything booked in. I look forward to meet you!
Send me an email through 'Contact' button above and I'll get back to you asap.
