During my middle school years, my dad bought a pedal steel guitar and starting taking lessons at a local music store. Up until that point, I had heard the pedal steel on a countless number of albums, but I wouldn't have been able to point to one, let alone to have known what it was called, but getting to see and to hear one up close and personal was a revelation (I had no idea you had to use your knees!)
For a while, I focused solely on the guitar, but, with my dad sliding away in his room, that haunting sound of pedal steel kept ringing in my ears. Eventually I gave in and, about fifteen years ago, bought myself an Emmons S-10 and the rest is history. Since then, I've played on stage and in the studio.
One of my greatest joys as a musician is collaboration, and I make it my mission to provide the client with whatever it is they need to make their project a success. Whether you have charts and specific parts in mind, or if you need me to come up with arrangement ideas, I will do whatever is necessary for you to come away happy and satisfied with the end result.
