I'm a young producer/instrumentalist creating modern, vibrant sounds that cover your ears in a blanket of ethereal and dreamy goodness. As a musician and producer I've played multiple festivals, have been played on BBC Radio, charted on the German dance charts and worked with popular UK singer-songwriters Emilia Tarrant and Jacob Cook.
Creating music shouldn't be transactional - and I believe in this despite the world we live in.
I will write, arrange and/or mix your song exactly how you imagined it.
I like to understand exactly what your vision is and how you want to get there.
Due to my eclectic roots of being a trained jazz-musician, drummer, percussionist, pianist, and singer while simultaneously loving a wide variety of electronic genres, the output that I as a musician and collaborator generate is equally diverse and faceted.
My experience:
- 7 years of experience in producing, mixing and mastering music.
- 8 years of experience being a pianist, keyboarder, etc.
- 11 years of experience in percussion & drumming
- A long history of writing songs, nearly daily

Interview with Loui Bénas
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My personal project's debut album called "Golden Touch" - which will be a milestone and defining moment for my sound going forward.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My vintage eagle acoustic guitar, a solar panel & power supply, my laptop & headphones. It'll be enough to pass the time!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: There never was a time without music - My professional life as a musician started when having moved to Berlin in 2024. However, I had already played at festivals & bands, and self-produced/released music for half a decade by that point. Next was to aquire a Bachelors degree in composition & music production, which brings us to today.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Ethereal, dreamy, warm, fuzzy and grand. If you feel like you just drifted off into space, forgetting about your daily worries, I did my job.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: There's almost never a "best" way.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I believe that my understanding of a wide variety of music genres can benefit anyone I work with - It doesn't necessarily have to impact the final product, but it allows me to pull inspiration from those sources when the time is right.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: 80% of the time, I work from my home studio in Berlin - It offers everything I need to deliver professional high-quality productions. Occasionally, I will work from a nearby studio for specific reasons like room acoustics, recording & hardware equipment or physical space.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Lizzy McAlpine, Yebba, San Holo, Ellis, Porter Robinson, Petit Biscuit, Daniel Ceasar, Ethan Gruska, Tennyson.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Usually, the work I do will involve multiple aspects of the production pipeline (e.g. recording piano and mixing the full track thereafter). I usually enjoy being part of the song in more than one aspect, to get a better understanding of the songs direction.
