Pop music producer with wide musical background, highly skilled editor, celebrated gear fixing synth tech. More than 30 years experience in song writing and behind mixer desks. And I have been on stage for more than 30 years, too, as a singer, guitarist, and keyboarder. Studied geologist.

You just need to get rid of boring work? I do editing, vocal tuning and comping naturally and with high accuracy (I'm in Germany, come on) and for reasonable prices.

I'm a Berlin based pop producer with my own recording studio. I have top notch equipment and a huge collection of hardware synthesizers & drum machines, plus guitars, pedals, amps. I also have a great range of stuff not necessarily identified as intruments in the first place. You want something interesting and unusual for your track? You found me.

I also do male (backing) vocals.

I have worked with numerous artists, huge and small. I have learned from folks like Philip Bagenal (Eastcote/London) or Helmut Philipps (T'Bwana/Dortmund). I teach children how to use synthesizers. I have more than 3 plays on Spotify, maybe four, if I click once more.

Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It's always different.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: 1. What is your role, will you perform the song(s) live? 2. I'd like to learn something from you, what other talents do you have? 3. How did you break that?
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Knife, bowl, filt, rope and a supermarket.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Check the recording position of your mic.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I'm very precise. Regarding timing, pitch, harmonics. I'm very much into detail.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Whatever it takes. If the song needs to be streamlined because the client identifies as a streamlined artist, I will do my very best to produce a catchy tune. If the client is the opposite, my studio is a trap and both the client and I will not notice there was a door to leave. And if the singer has a lisp I will make it his/her trademark.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Identify weaknesses. Amplify them.

A: Logic Pro X, RME interfaces, Avalon & SPL mic pre amps, Neumann/Shure/Sennheiser etc. mics. Synths and drum machines, to name a few, by Ace Tone, Arturia, Elektron, Kawai, Korg, MFB, Moog, Oberheim, Roland, Sequential Circuits, Yamaha, Wersi.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Recording and arranging songs. Writing vocal lines. Improving vocal lines and lyrics. Mixing. Repairing my client's gear (they always have broken stuff).
