Hi, I'm Liz, and I've spent decades working on top-tier productions as a performer, writer and director for pop artists, Broadway shows, and independent artists. I'm a published author of two books, and using the power of words and music is my God-given strength.
I love to co-create what I like to call "signature songs"... taking into account the emotions you want to convey, and eliciting them through a really cohesive and memorable narrative.
This can come from your own personal experience of a circumstance that affected you, or we can create from a fictional situation that we imagine.
Whether the song is autobiographical or not, the artist is always playing a certain character in the song. In our work session we'll create that character together which will give us access to that character's world, words, and point of view so that your song is super-personal to listen to, and truly memorable to your listeners.
We want to create a song that they'll never forget, and that they'll always associate with you.
My three primary genres are Country, Latin, And theatrical. What these three have in common is a deep tradition of character-based storytelling, use of everyday details in the lyrics, and soaring hooks that bring the powerful emotions to the surface.
After decades on Broadway, on Tours, and eliciting incredible performances from artists worldwide, my focus now is on co-writing and co-creating meaningful songs for other artists. I write in English or Spanish.
