The first thing I apply when working on any song is - taste. It doesn't matter the genre. Is the part tasty? Does the mix hit? Does it have intention? That's what matters to me. I want to help you achieve that!
I am a freelance multi-instrumentalist, producer, audio engineer, among other things. I got my start playing guitar so that's definitely my strongest and most well versed instrument. After getting my footing on guitar, I moved over to the world of audio engineering, where I achieved a bachelor's degree for studio recording and have been working in the field, both on tour (in various roles) and in studio, for years now.
Let's turn your vision into a reality! I'm more than happy to help and happy to make changes and tweaks to get your vision the way it is in your head. I love applying nonlinear techniques to get something to sound right. Music should be fun first and foremost, and it is a relationship that is wholly special to the artist who makes it. I want to foster that relationship!

Interview with Greg Almeida
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Post rock, pop, electronic, metal, alternative rock.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I think it would be taking a step back from a song and examining it as a listener, and trusting my gut from there to adjust.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have 2 JBL LSR 308 monitors that is swear by, apollo twin x, a plethora of high quality plugins and a few really hi quality microphones. I am a guitarist by trade so I have a wide variety of tones and plugins for guitar, with a Kemper that allows me to achieve any tone possible. I also use some of the Neural DSP plugins for extra coverage. I operate on an upgraded Macbook M1 Pro with 32 GB of ram, I ususally never have a problem mixing sessions.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: It's a mix of playing guitar on a track, writing/arranging/producing a demo with an artist, or mixing songs.
