I’ve spent 16 years on the road, playing with top producers in Brazil, the U.S., India, Colombia, and Israel. Recently nominated for a Latin Grammy with CASA Worship, I focus on delivering the perfect drum part that enhances the song, always serving the artist’s vision with energy, feel, and precision.

Hi, I’m Felipe, but you can call me Negueba. I’m a Brazilian drummer with extensive experience working with top artists like Eli Soares (2024 Latin Grammy-winning Gospel artist), Péricles, Felipe Araujo, Saulo – Banda Eva, Dudu Borges, and many more.

While my roots are in Black Music, I now focus on Pop, Country, Rock, and Brazilian styles like Samba and Bossa Nova. As a composer myself, I approach drumming from a songwriter’s perspective, always aiming to enhance the song and help the artist shine. My priority is to contribute the perfect drum part that complements the music, staying true to the song's vision.

My studio is custom-built for drum recording, featuring professional acoustic treatment by a specialist. I have a wide range of drums, cymbals, and snares, along with top-quality microphones and compressors for the best sound capture. Above all, I focus on finding the perfect groove for each project, ensuring that your performance is captured with energy, precision, and feel.
