Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Crossover, Classical, Musical Theater, Pop, Jazz
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a lean at-home studio for simpler projects. For more involved projects, I will work out of Starstruck Studios on Music Row in Nashville, TN
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on two big projects 1) a solo EP project slated to be released later this summer, 2) a fully orchestrated Christmas concert that will tour throughout the US.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I highly recommend Haley Schattschneider! She is a fabulous vocalist, session singer, contractor, and vocal producer. One of the next big up-and-coming phenoms in our industry.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: True story-- I was about to accept scholarship for neuroscience and wanted to study the way music affected the brain! I instead chose a collegiate path where I was able to major in Vocal Performance and minor in Communication Sciences & Disorders. I still took classes in Neuroscience, Neurogenic Disorders, etc.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Would love to have the opportunity to work with Andrea Bocelli. He is a living legend!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: As a skilled sight reader, I take pride in being able to learn music quickly. I can also match phrasing and harmonies for tight BGV's.
