Musician/multi-instrumentalist for 23 years and producer/engineer for 11 years
Since I was about 10 years old, playing music has been my passion. I've spent years creating and producing music and now it's time to settle into a career. My current goal is to help other bands make a name for themselves by giving them the best sound possible. My strong suit is capturing the essence of an artist or band's performance by making their song(s) sound as clean and pleasing to the ear as possible.

Interview with Andrew G
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on a Sherwood re-record and re-mix.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Ideally, both. Analog has a certain "classic" sound. Digital is a more efficient process and sometimes introduces effects you can't get with digital. It all depends on the context of the song.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Unlike a lot of engineers, I'm willing to put in just as much work for your music as I am for my own.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I most like helping small or otherwise local acts enhance their sound and thus impress their peers and further develop their fanbase.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please be professional but friendly. And above all else please be organized when possible!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I want to make other bands' music sound as high quality as possible. I've been on this path for 11 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Crisp, but fat and warm.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Mix with your ears, not your eyes.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Metalcore, deathcore, rock
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I like to think I've got a good ear for when production effects are called for or when something could use more impact in the song. I've also got a great ear for song structuring and pacing in a writing context.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use mostly plugins but many are geared towards providing a more analog and retro sound when it's called for.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am a big fan of my friends in ZEAL, a local WI metalcore band. Joey Sturgis and Jordan Valeriote got me started on wanting to mix and produce music.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing and mastering.
