Producer, Mixer & Live Sound Engineer, based in Copenhagen.
Music needs to pop out of the speakers and excite you. I like to make music do that. :-)
I have several years of experience with producing, recording and mixing a wide variety of music.
I work primarily within rock music and its sub-genres: alternative rock, indie, shoegaze, post-rock, but do work with other genres as well. People like to work with me because of my open-mindedness. :-)

Interview with Mikki Christiansen
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Both most of my clients and I like to record together in the studio and have me mixing the project as well. This makes for a coherent process that suits me really well, because this way I am able to plan out how I would like the mix to sound a lot better.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am a huge fan of Radiohead and always will be. They are a huge influence regarding songwriting, musical soundscapes and also music marketing. As for recording/mixing engineers I am really fascinated by Dave Friedmann and the way he is able to smash drums - well, smash everything in a mix. The way he makes colorful, interesting mixes with the help of recording drums too hard on the preamps, distort a piano or what be it - make things pop out, catch your attention and not be afraid of 'overdoing' things - is something that I urge to do myself. If the client wants it, of course.
