Kerbelai on SoundBetter

Great music deserves a great mix. As both a producer and artist, I understand that mixing is more than just balancing levels—it’s about enhancing emotion, clarity, and impact to bring your vision to life.

With nearly a decade of experience, I’ve worked with independent artists and rising talents to craft polished, competitive, and release-ready tracks in hip-hop, rap, and pop. Whether you need a crisp, dynamic vocal mix, a powerful, well-balanced low end, or a radio-ready master, I have the skills and tools to make it happen.

What Sets Me Apart?

✅ A Producer’s Perspective – I don’t just mix; I ensure your track feels right artistically and commercially.
✅ Pro-Level Sound – Using FL Studio and Pro Tools, I leverage top-tier plugins from Antares, FabFilter, Universal Audio, SoundToys, Oeksound, iZotope, and more.
✅ High-End Gear – My setup includes premium equipment from Audient, KRK, Adam Audio, sE Electronics, Shure, and Novation to guarantee sonic precision.
✅ Custom-Tailored Mixing – Every song is unique. I shape my approach to match your artistic identity, ensuring your sound stands out.

Interview with Kerbelai

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Both! The combination together can really bring an unique and fantastic sound to the mix.

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: Rules are meant to be broken. This applies to musical creativity as well. If something sounds right or good in your ears, even if the intended purpose of that singular effect wasn’t supposed to be used for whatever you used it for, don’t change it. It sounds good!

  5. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  6. A: Beats and lyrics.

  7. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  8. A: Understanding the artist, and understanding an idea.

  9. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  10. A: In my studio you'll find a pair of Adam Audio speakers and a pair of KRKs. You’ll also find an Audient Evo 16 audio interface with a turntable and 2 semi-synths always connected, and you’ll see a SM7B and sE Electronics 2300 mics.

  11. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  12. A: Quincey Jones, Rick Rubin, Dr. Dre, Pharrell Williams, Scott Storch, Timbaland, will.i.am

  13. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  14. A: Mixing and mastering. Many independent artists have their own home studio, but just a few of them know how to do the technical work themselves.
