Interview with Mr.MP
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Your personal opinion should never be anything more than a suggestion since a producer should provide proper tools for the artist to be able to communicate what they're hearing to realization.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Having 20+ years of experience in music industry gave me the ability to deliver a high quality and standard result regardless of type, genre , style or criteria of music I've been assigned to work on.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Developing an artistic mindset and perspective from any aspect of music which provides a platform required for artistic transformation
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I provide knowledge and information required for each artist to be able to dive deep into the core of the idea their resonating with to be able to hear it more clear by utilizing the provided information and tools so the direction could be determined by the idea it self which brings a sense of authenticity and satisfaction for the artist and ultimately creates a more solid foundation for the artist to express themselves through pure creativity.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Once I figured out the route I need to take for the song based on the info I get from the artist depending on the work I would have to do from producing a full song from 0-100, co-producing , audio engineering or recording engineering, I setup the project accordingly and start by the most important tasks so as we move forward we wouldn't spend as much time on the projects since stretching the deadline on finalizing songs can be distractive and might lead to over producing or lack of concentration.
