As a composer, I provide music for media, the concert stage, and everywhere in between. While I can achieve a finished product through computer software alone, I have years of experience writing, rehearsing, and recording. My music is minimalism style, mostly using piano, as I am a professional pianist.

Emerald Buxó is a composer and pianist from Barcelona, Spain. He studied composition at the Conservatori Superior del Liceu and earned a master’s degree in Film Scoring and Audiovisual Media at ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya). In 2024, he further expanded his composition studies at the Joseph Haydn Privathochschule in Eisenstadt, Austria, deepening his musical knowledge and artistic vision.
In 2022, he released his debut single CORPUS ET ANIMA, introducing his distinctive minimalist style. Two years later, he followed up with IMPROMPTUS, a collection of eight solo piano pieces that showcase his evocative and introspective approach to composition.
Emerald Buxó has composed original scores for several short films, immersing himself in the world of visual storytelling. His ability to blend delicate harmonies with cinematic textures has made his work stand out in the contemporary music scene.
In addition to his musical training, Emerald Buxó also studied dance, which has deeply connected him to the world of movement and performance. His passion for dance has led him to collaborate on various dance projects and create interdisciplinary performances, such as Cumulonimbus (2023) and El azul de Picasso (2024).
His minimalist style, characterized by emotional depth and subtle complexity, defines his musical identity.
