Professional mixing/mastering with an emphasis in rock/pop/indie genres - Let me level up your song!
With many years of gigging as a guitarist/singer and working with bands/artists while studying audio engineering and music production in college (University of Alabama and Georgia State University), I have recorded, written, and performed music professionally in a variety of genres. I specialize and most enjoy working with songwriters and bands in the indie-adjacent genres (indie rock, indie pop, indie folk), but I am open to anything! Below is a list of services I offer, with the primary being mixing/mastering.
MIXING/MASTERING - Get your music in the best shape to be released to the world! I use Pro Tools with a variety of industry standard plugins including the UAD pack. Check below for examples of my mixes.
PRODUCING - Need an instrumental track for your vocals? Need to produce your song up to studio quality? I've got you covered. With my home studio, I'm able to lay down instrumental tracks using LIVE INSTRUMENTS including drums, guitars, bass, horns, piano, keys, and bring your song to life.
RECORDING - Come in to the studio solo to track vocals, or bring your whole band to record live together. Message me for more information.
Let's make some music! If you have any questions or would like to inquire further, shoot me an email.

Interview with Liam Ravita
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I worked with the indie rock band Junkyard Cat as a tracking engineer and co-producer for their debut EP 'Where To Start/By Name/More Than Just Friends'. Since it's release in 2023, it has accumulated over 50,000 streams on Spotify and facilitated the bands rise in the Houston indie scene.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm finishing up mixing a 4 song EP for singer-songwriter Nick Kalra that will be released next month. I'm also co-producing for a local country artist Trevor Meadows.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love the tedious intricacy of mixing a song to bring out all the incredible tones and musicianship that exist in a raw, unrefined shape. Mixing a song is like polishing silver or cutting a diamond. I also love collaborating with artists creatively in production and recording.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I grew up playing many different instruments including trumpet, piano, and guitar. In high school, I taught myself the basics of recording and producing music within a DAW, and eventually went to college to study Audio Engineering at the University of Alabama. During my 4 years there I played in several bands that played every weekend as a guitarist/singer/bassist, worked on live production teams, studied under mentors in professional recording studios, and wrote many songs. Currently I study Music Production at Georgia State University in Atlanta.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Horns and strings make everything better!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mostly bands and songwriters of indie rock, indie pop, and indie folk.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is setup with the control desk in the live room for better communication/collaboration. I use Pro Tools with a Scarlett 18i20 Interface linked to a Scarlett OctoPre for 16 total channels of analog inputs. Large collection of mics including small/large diaphragm condensers, dynamic SM57/SM58s, and others. Equipped with electric guitars, acoustics, electric bass, live drums, amps, upright piano, and Kronos keyboard.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am constantly inspired by Jack Antonoff's production work in blending indie, pop, and rock together with the artists Clairo, The 1975, Lorde, Lana Del Rey, Florence + the Machine, and Taylor Swift.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of my work is mixing/mastering remotely and producing/recording in my home studio.
