Yoo this is Canju from Greece! I am currently studying Physics but I've been keeping myself occupied with music related projects for the past 7 years in Athens' underground rap (and not only) scene. Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital cause I like the controll precision it gives. If i want something random in a song, I'll add it i dont want possible artifacts.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Learn the rules (important), then break them. If you want it to sound better, you dont want it to sound staged from start to finish.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill i would say is my creativity freedom and my ability to understand musical visions collaboratively. All of my clients have commented to me that what they got is either what they wanted or better.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: The most evident thing I bring into songs is character. I like unique sounds and non-boring tracks so I try to give this as much as possible.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Professionals that inspire me are versatile people with a good heart, such as Mac Miller, Tyler, BROCKHAMPTON, Yung Lean, EDEN, FrankOcean. Also, as you can see from the artists i look up too, I like interesting Mixes in songs and not just "clean vocals".
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most commonly, I end up doing the engineering for people i don't collab with musically, so say my "clients", but there are plenty of services i do offer. Plus I like helping completing projects as a whole and looking for more than just Mixing/Mastering songs.
