Interview with ReALOo

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I’ve worked on projects where I contributed as a songwriter and vocal guide, including sessions connected to Mavin Records. I’m proud of those experiences because they allowed me to combine creativity and technical skill to help shape strong vocal performances.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I’m currently working on vocal sessions and songwriting projects, helping artists develop strong, polished recordings, mixing & mastering.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: I’m always open to collaborating with other talented professionals depending on the project’s needs.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital, because it offers flexibility and precision while still allowing you to achieve high-quality results.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: My promise is to deliver clean, professional vocals and give my full attention to making your song sound its best.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I enjoy helping artists bring their ideas to life and seeing the transformation from a rough idea to a finished song.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Clients often ask how long it takes to get a perfect vocal. My answer is that it depends on the artist, but I focus on quality over speed to make sure the final result is strong.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That vocal recording is just about hitting the right notes. In reality, emotion, delivery, and confidence are just as important.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: I usually ask about the style of the song, reference tracks, the message they want to convey, and what kind of vocal performance they’re aiming for.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Look for someone who understands both the technical and creative side of music. Communication is also very important you want someone who listens to your vision and helps bring it to life.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: A laptop, audio interface, microphone, headphones, and a portable power source.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I started as an artist and songwriter, then expanded into sound engineering and vocal production. Over time, I’ve gained hands-on studio experience working on recording sessions and helping artists improve their sound. My Future is bright.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: My style is clean, expressive, and detail-focused. I aim for vocals that feel natural but still polished and professional.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I’d love to work with Ayra Starr because of her unique vocal style and ability to blend emotion with modern sound.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Don’t rush vocal recordings. Take your time to get the right emotion and delivery — a great performance will always stand out more than heavy processing.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: I mainly work on Afrobeats, R&B, Afro-fusion, and Pop.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: My strongest skill is Songwriting/vocal direction, helping artists deliver their best performance in the studio while maintaining both technical quality and emotional impact.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring both a creative and technical perspective. I focus on vocal clarity, Songwriting, emotion, and delivery, making sure the performance connects with the listener while still sounding clean and professional.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I start by understanding the artist’s vision and the direction of the song. During recording, I guide the artist through the session, focusing on tone, delivery, and emotion. If needed, I break recordings into sections to get the best performance. After that, I refine and polish the vocals to fit the track perfectly.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I work in a focused studio environment equipped for vocal recording and production. My setup allows me to record clean, professional vocals and monitor sessions accurately so I can guide artists in real time and achieve high-quality results.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: I’m inspired by artists and creatives who combine strong vocal performance with great production. I appreciate people who pay attention to detail and emotion in music, especially those shaping modern Afrobeats and R&B sounds.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I mostly work with artists on vocal recording, songwriting, and vocal coaching. I help them develop strong performances in the studio, whether that’s recording clean vocals, writing hooks, or guiding them through delivery and emotion to get the best take.
