A: What I love most about my job is helping artists bring their vision to life. There’s something powerful about taking raw vocals and turning them into a polished, emotional, industry-ready song. Seeing an artist hear their track come alive for the first time — that moment is what drives me.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: The biggest misconception is that mixing and mastering can fix a poorly recorded performance. Great results start with clean recordings and clear artistic direction. My job is to enhance, polish, and elevate the song—not to replace the artist’s performance or production choices.

A: I usually ask clients about their vision, reference tracks, and the emotion they want the song to convey. I also ask for the BPM, key, vocal style, and if there are any specific elements they want emphasized or avoided. Understanding their goals helps me shape the mix to match their artistic identity.

A: I've been working as a music producer and mix engineer since 2017. Over the years, I've produced in a wide range of genres, including Trap, R&B, Lo-fi, Gospel, Pop, Afrobeats, and Funk. I’ve collaborated with well-known labels in Brazil such as Furacão 2000, PZ Records, and A Matilha, and I currently work closely with rising artists in the scene. With hundreds of sessions completed, I’ve developed a refined ear for vocal clarity, emotional impact, and modern production standards. My experience allows me to deliver clean, punchy, industry-ready mixes that elevate each artist’s identity.

I organize the session, clean the audio, tune vocals if needed, and build a balanced mix focusing on warmth, clarity, and punch. After the first mix is ready, I deliver a preview and the client can request revisions. I then finalize the mix, apply mastering, and deliver high-quality WAV/MP3 files. Throughout the process, I keep communication clear to ensure the final result matches the artist’s expectations.

A: My studio is a modern, acoustically treated environment built for high-quality vocal recording, mixing, and mastering. I work with professional-grade gear, including a treated vocal booth, high-accuracy studio monitors, reference headphones, premium audio plugins (Waves, UAD, iZotope, FabFilter, SoundToys), and a powerful workstation optimized for large sessions. My setup is designed to deliver clean, warm, punchy mixes with precision and consistency across every genre I work in.

A: I'm inspired by producers who deliver emotion, clarity, and unique sonic identity. Names like Noah “40” Shebib, Metro Boomin, P2J, Kuk Harrell, Mike Dean, Frank Dukes, and Illangelo influence my approach to mixing and vocal production. I also draw inspiration from modern Afrobeats producers like Juls and Sarz, and from the warm, organic sound of engineers like Manny Marroquin and MixedByAli. Their balance of creativity and technical precision helps shape the way I bring out the best in each artist.
